Had to write an essay on "Home" for English homework. Thought I'd share it with you lot, if you can be bothered to read. If not, that's ok:)
HOME
As I stare at this blank page, I wonder what on earth I could possibly write to put my home into mere words, and it strikes me that it is a near impossible task, because words cannot possibly accurately convey my feelings for that special place.
For me, 'home' -- that four-letter word which carries so much meaning and so many memories-- can only be one place; the only place I have ever felt a true sense of belonging, and a genuine warmth from the heart for my surroundings, is Bergen, in Norway.
